Dye liquid crystal film
FILMBASE is a new type of material that can control the light transmittance realized by dye liquid crystal technology, which can change its absorption and transmittance characteristics under the action of an external electric field. When no electric field is applied, the liquid crystal molecules and dye molecules will arrange themselves to form a specific structure, so that light cannot pass through the film. When an electric field is applied, the liquid crystal molecules rearrange and change the characteristics of the light transmitted by the film, thus achieving a tunable light transmittance. Dye-based liquid crystal film-based products enable glass to be dimmed and tinted from opaque to transparent, enabling user-controlled shading and glare mitigation.
